Gem and Hank rise to take an early morning stroll which ended up being a 2 hour stroll and $100 worth of food of shopping. Things are definitely expensive here!
Mum and I get dressed and sit pool side! The weather is warm and we have the odd shower but nothing can dampen the mood with Rum Punch, Guiness and fried dumplings to start off our day!
Today we met Thomas the gardener (clearly struggling with his sexuality! All he needs is a feather boa). He's an avid deep sea diver without equipment and he promises to bring me some freshly caught fish! I told him to make sure he cleans it as I am on holiday and cleaning and descaling fish isn't my idea of a holiday!
A few Rum Punches later and I met the pool cleaning boys. Sorry, too drunk to remember their names but they showed me how they earned their pay and agreed with me that black people and water don't mix!
Peter showed up too on BMT. He is cool and I hope to see him again before I leave.
We Skyped Omara who sadly couldn't join us as she has "medicine" things to do. Brandishing a hoodie...not a good look so hopefully next time we see her she will have had an opportunity to blow dry the fro'!
Mum is enjoying reading her book, "The Palm Oil Stain"! She hasn't put it down so it must be good. Make sure you get a copy to add to your collection!
3.00 P.M. dinner is prepped for the BBQ. Having a wonderful time but thoughts wander to home and my loved ones. I hope they are coping without me and if not.....tough!
Sounds absolutely perfect - the only thing missing is me! Have fun in the sun and a rum for me :)
